Another day, another new handset: here's the N702iS from NEC for DoCoMo's FOMA. Details inside.

NTT DoCoMo will be releasing the "N702iS," a FOMA handset from NEC, created in collaboration with a designer named Ohki Satou.

The phone is designed in the image of a drink, with "Aqua Illumination" water droplet-shaped lights o­n the phone's body. It has "Style Plus" changeable faceplates as well.

Features of the phone include a 240 x 345 dot TFT LCD that measures 2.1", a 1.3MP CMOS camera, and support for all standard FOMA services such as iChannel, TV phone, Dego Mail, and infrared communications. It will be available in Mineral Water, Strawberry Milk, and Caffe Latte body colors, and includes a recharging stand that lights up.

Another unique function of the N702iS is its acceleration sensor, so that certain functions can be controlled by tilting the phone -- the phone's "water" wallpaper will respond depending o­n which direction the phone is tilted towards.
