More bizarre iPod cases from Focal. This o­ne is shaped like a cat, complete with a tail for easy storage of your headphone cable.

Focal Point Computer Corporation will release the cat-shaped "iKitty nano" iPod nano case in late January. It is Open Price, but the direct sale price is 5,480 yen.

It is a cat-shaped protective case for the iPod nano, and the eyes are position such that they allow access to the hold switch. The hold status can also be confirmed. There are also holes at the tail end of the case for the the Dock connector and earphone connection, enabling users to connect their iPod to speakers or to a dock connector even while the case is equipped.

Also featured is a bendable tail, and the earphone cable can be wrapped around it for storage purposes. Black and white body colors will be available. The developer is "Speck Products."
