Elecom is releasing a number of products for "Francfranc" stores throughout Japan. There are earphones, speakers, a mouse, and a mousepad.

Elecom Corporation will release original PC accessory products on February 10th, intended to be sold at "Francfranc" interior/home furnishing shops, operated by Bals Corporation.

A total of five products such as earphones, compact speakers, and a mouse wil be sold under a double name, "ELECOM X Francfranc."

The earphones are based on the "EHP-810" earphones (3,150 yen) released in June of 2005, but the color and logo has been changed. They will be available on February 10th for 5,040 yen. Red, green, and white body colors will be available.

They are ear-hanging style earphones, and the cord can be inserted in either the left or right earphone. A 30mm "Bass Hyper Surround Unit" is used, and with an improvement of the movements of the oscillation panel, lower frequency response has been enhanced.

The speakers are based on the "PSP-CS500 (2,520 yen)" released in May of 2005, but the colors have been changed, and a logo has been added. They will be released on February 10th for 3,990 yen. Yellow, green, gray, and white body colors will be available.

They are portable, passive-style speakers intended to be used with portable audio devices, and they contain a 50mm cone unit. They have a maximum input of 2W + 2W, and are rate at 1W + 1W. The frequency response is from 300Hz to 20kHz. The impedence is 8 ohms. The external dimensions when deployed are 156 x 38.5 x 77mm (W x D x H), and when closed, 83.5 x 77 x 77mm (same).

Elecom had previously targetted male users through its camera wholesale and electronics wholesale store channels, but this collaboration with Francfranc is expected to help the company target female users through its new channel.

A mouse and mousepad will also be available. Also, these collaboration products will only be available at "Francfranc" stores, and not at electronics wholesale shops.
