Our buddies down at "Heavy Moon" have come up with a nice looking adapter to power your iPod shuffle from your car's cigarette lighter.
Heavy Moon announced the "smartCharge" cigarette lighter recharging adapter for the iPod shuffle on December 1st. It is Open Price. At the company's own site, it costs 3,864 yen.
The iPod shuffle is connected to the smartCharge, then by simply inserting it into a car's cigarette lighted, the iPod shuffle will begin recharging. It features a 3.5mm stereo audio jack, so that it can be connected to a car stereo via cassette adapter or line-in connector. Also, if a USB cable is used, the device can also be connected to a 4G iPod, iPod photo, or iPod mini.
