Dropping your phone is one thing, but slipping on it when you go to pick it up? Sounds like a Pee Wee movie.

Victim
Takada of Hyougo Prefecture
Scene of Accident
The same road I always take to school (sidewalk)
Broken Item
Vodafone J-D08
Details of Accident
This happened while I was on my way to the train station to take a practice exam. As I was running to be sure I made it in time, my phone fell out of my chest pocket. I was a bit confused and when I went to pick it up, I somehow stepped on it by accident and took a nasty spill. No really, I fell hard, and as I was thinking to myself "damn that hurt," I noticed that the phone was really damaged. A ghastly pale me carefully opened the phone to find the screen was completely destroyed as you see above.

More from the Contributor
When I fell, the jeans I was wearing also got damaged. My buddy who was following me said "that's the first time I've seen jeans actually...get broken in naturally." That's what I remember the most. Not only did I fall on the way to the train station, but I "fell" on the test...that day sucked. What saved my ass that day was the fact that I had a backup of my important mail and data, and since I had used it for two years, I had enough points to get a new handset very cheaply.
