NTT DoCoMo is going to release the F900i cellular phone o­n February 6th. That's Friday. This is the first of the new 900i series phones to be released.

NTT DoCoMo will release the first unit of the new FOMA 900i series, the Fujitsu "F900i," o­n February 6th.

The F900i uses a security lock slide type thing. It includes a fingerprint sensor that is removable. There is a 2.2 inch QVGA main display (240 x 320 dot), with a 262,144 color capable TFT. There is also a Organic EL display o­n the back side, capable of displaying 3 colors - it is 1". There effective resolution of the CCD camera is 1.28MP, and it can take up to SXGA size (960 x 1280 dot) pictures. There is a miniSD slot, and the phone uses the Symbian OS.

Using the optional USB cable, schedule and phone book data can be transferred from the PC. Also, using the "Task key," users can change between phone book and mail data during a call.

The size is 106 x 50 x 26mm (H x W x D). It weighs 120g. Sleep time is 480 hours, idle time 360 hours, talk time 160 minutes, and TV phone time 100 minutes. There are three body colors: lime green, silver, and navy.
