A veritable Swiss Army knife of audio/video equipment, the new "Bearmax MVX6950T" from Kumazaki Aim offers TV, AM/FM tuner, DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, Video CD, and MP3/JPEG support in a minicomponent system. This would be a fantastic system to just have in your kitchen, bedroom, or other place where you might want a second television. Moreover, the TV is an LCD, rather than a CRT.
Kumazaki Aim Corporation will release the "Bearmax MVX6950T" minicomponent system that contains an LCD display and can playback TV and DVD-Video, on July 17th. Its price is 39,800 yen.
The unit features a 4.5" LCD display, and a TV/FM/AM tuner. The disc drive supports the playback of DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, and Video CD. Furthermore, it also supports the playback of MP3/JPEG files stored on recordable discs. It also contains a slideshow function for playing still images.
The amplifier has an output of 30W x 2ch. It features an antenna input and even digital audio output. The external dimensions of the main unit are 168 x 255 x 185mm (W x D x H), and each speaker is 137 x 264 x 182mm (same). The case is made of ABS, and it has a "Pop Silver" coloring.

No video input (for connecting your PS2 or something), unfortunately. Shucks! |
