After his daughter is the victim of a vicious Hello Kitty attack, he dropped his camera at the theme park. It can happen to all of us.

Victim:
Horibo of Tokyo

Scene of Accident:
Sanrio Puroland

Broken Item:
Ricoh GR1

Details of Accident:
It was a lovely day, and I had taken my daughter to Sanrio Puroland. Seeing a "Hello Kitty" that was far, far, larger than the normal stuffed animal size scared the bejesus out of my daughter, so she did not hesitate to take flight. "Ah hell," I thought, as I took a picture anyway. Just as I was relaxing at the exit of the park for a brief moment, I noticed I dropped my camera. I took a quick glance at it just then and it looked fine, but when I went to take a picture once we got outside of Puroland, I noticed that the front of the unit was missing some pieces.

Damage Costs:
I haven't put it in for repairs yet, so I have no idea.

More from the Contributor:
This unit's production has been stopped, and since Ricoh has withdrawn from the domestic camera industry, I'm a bit worried about this piece being in stock. It's called the GR1, but I'd like it if they hurried up and made a digital camera version.
