If you're in the market for something that looks like a Mac mini that...isn't actually a Mac mini, Focal Point Computer has a fantastic product for you. The "USB 2.0 Mini Drive Kit" is an external hard drive case that looks, well, exactly like a Mac mini!
Focal Point Computer will release the "USB 2.0 Mini Drive Kit" in mid-July. Its price on the company's "Focal Store" is 12,800 yen.
This product is an external hard drive case for 3.5" hard drives that supports up to the ATA 133 interface. It employs a design to match that of the Mac mini, and the body's material is aluminium. An LED lamp on the front of the unit confirms the operation of the drive within, and it also features a hole for theft-prevention devices such as Kensington locks.
