A measly 1,980 yen for Green House's new folding speaker shaped like a mobile phone. It gets a somewhat-shabby 8 hour battery life from three AAAs as well.

Green House announced the "GH-SPA-214K" series of portable speaker with internal amp shaped like a mobile phone o­n the 28th, and will release them in early July. The price is Open, but estimates put them around 1,980 yen.

The GH-SPA-214K series are speakers that feature an integrated 1.4W x 2ch amplifier. They are powered by three AAA batteries, and have a maximum playback time of about 8 hours.

The white "GH-SPA-214KW," the black "GH-SPA-214KK," the blue "GH-SPA-214KB," and the pink "GH-SPA-214KP" will be available as the four color variations.

When folded, the unit measures about 109.3 x 34.4 x 47.5mm (W x D x H), and weighs about 105g without the batteries.
