Details on five different phones:
-D900i
-F900i
-N900i
-SH900i
-P900i
They are all interesting in their own respects.
-D900i: "Strongest Movie Phone"
The D900i is a cellular phone of Mitsubishi make with a 1.92 megapixel camera, or an effective 1 megapixel from the Super CCD Honeycomb lens. It has aluminium parts in various places on its body, and uses Memory Stick PRO Duo.
The D900i unit's specialty is the ability to playback pre-recorded TV shows. At the time of announcement during last December, it was presented that the shows would be converted inside of the unit, but this time they are presenting that movies must be converted on the PC end via the included "Motion Smoothy" software. This software converts movies for playback on the D900i. Input formats are AVI, MOV, WMV, and MPEG and it will output 320x240 24fps MP4 movies for the D900i. Using a sold-seperately USB calbe, the movies can be written to the Memory Stick Duo through USB storage. Also, when using the sold-seperately AV output cable, movies and still images can be played back on a TV. "Motion Smoothy" supports Windows 2000 and XP.
Using the MPEG-4 movie format, up to 24fps can be played. When using the included 16MB Memory Stick Duo, 54 minutes (176 x 144, 32kbps, 10fps), or 5 minutes (176 x 144, 384kbps, 15fps) can be played. The phone also supports the 512MB Memory Stick Duo - meaning that if standard mode is used, it can store up to 24 hours, or 2 hours 30 minutes in large screen mode. There is also the "Hella Smooth Mode" (176 x 144, 256kbps, max 24fps) which comes close to actual TV quality.
The D900i uses the same lens as that on the D505iS phone, which has a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1600. Since the camera is on a hinge, and there is an LCD screen on the back of the phone, all sorts of different picture taking styles can be used.
The main display is a 2.2 inch QVGA 262,144 color supporting "Crystal Fine (MD-TFD Color) display, and the subdisplay a 1.1 inch, 120 x 160, 65,536 "Crystal Fine (MD-TFD Color) screen. It has a standby time of 450 hours, idle time of 350 hours, and talk time of 140 minutes, and TV phone time of 70 minutes. It is 49 x 106 x 27 mm (W x H x T) and weighs 124g. There are two colors: pink and silver.

-Fingerprint verification precision enhanced "F900i", convenient features aplenty
The F900i is a phone of Fujitsu phone, which has drastically improved upon the fingerprint recognition that was introduced last year through the F505i. Using the slide-reader at the bottom of the phone, users simply sweep their index finger and enter "privacy mode" which allows users to hide data. on the "F505i," users had to input their fingerprints 10 times - and there were often failures to detect it correctly when one needed to access their data.
But this time around on the F900i, users need only input their fingerprint data 3 times, and the success rate of fingerprint recognition has been dramatically increased. This smooth fingerprint recognition and less stress by being able to hide information plays a part in the purchasing of the unit. While there can be up to 10 fingerprint datas inside the device, only one person may take items out of "privacy mode."
The camera on the back side is a 1.28 megapixel CCD camera, and the effective resolution of the camera on the display side is 110,000 pixels. In addition to being able to take still images at resolutions up to 1280 x 960, it can take MP4 (MobileMP4) QCIF (176 x 144) movies.
It has a megapixel and can zoom, take consecutive photos, use monotone, and night view. While the camera on the F900i is of a higher standard than most on cellular phones, the phone also assists in the operation. on the screen when taking pictures, there are various icons at the bottom of the screen allowing users easy access to features and settings such as brightness, contrast, frame, display size, file size, etc.. While a lot of the camera functions are chosen via a submenu, the F900i series presents them all with icons that are easily chooseable via directional keys.
Also, immediately after taking a picture, "miniSD" and "create mail" are displayed, when the "menu" button is pressed it will be saved to the miniSD card, and when the mail button is pressed, it will be sent as an attachment for a new email message.
This phone also includes the new FOMA oriented Dego Mail - for HTML type text formatting and such. The browser software also includes a scroll bar, meaning that users can tell how far along they in a page with just one look. There is also the "display customize" feature which allows users to choose certain items that are entered into their datebook to be displayed on the main screen.
It can also synchronize with Outlook data when connected to a PC via the USB cable; and on 2004 Spring models of Fujitsu's "FMV-Deskpower/Biblo" series, recorded programs can be sent to the miniSD card for viewing on the F900i.
The F900i is 106 x 50 x 26 (H x W x T) and weighs 120g. It has a standby time of 480 hours, idle time of 360 hours, 160 minutes of talk time, and 100 minutes of TV phone time. It uses the Symbian OS. There are three body colors: lime green, silver, and navy.

The NEC-made "N900i" has a bow-like design, called the Arcline.
This phone features a 1 megapixel CCD camera on the display side, and a 2 megapixel camera on the back side. This allows for images up to 1616 x 1212. When starting up the camera, "photo mode" only goes up to 640 x 480 - in order to utilize the full resolution of the camera, users must choose "Megapixel photo" from the menu.
Photos shot in "Megapixel photo" can be resized for VGA size, iShot, LSize, etc. using the "function menu" then "mail size conversion." Thus, users can save a copy of the image on their phone for sending to others.
As for movies, users choose "chance capture" from the camera menu and can take movies as they see fit - even after pressing "stop recording" it will continue recording for another 15 seconds. This means that while on conventional units, some people would miss the things that they wanted to record, but this is not the case anymore. Theoretically, this extra 15 seconds should allow them to get what they wanted to. In the case of long movies, users choose "Long movie" from the menu instead.
While previous models had "still image" and "movie" recording options from the menu, the N900i uses sub-menus for each function, so as not to bury the new features.
Other unique functions include reading/writing the miniSD card via the PC. Users simply choose "USB settings" from the menu and can choose between transmission mode and miniSD mode. The factory defaults are set at transmission mode, so all one needs to do is connect the phone to the PC and can use the miniSD card as a USB storage device and send data back and forth.
The N900 is 102 x 48 x 26 (H x W x T) and weighs 115g. It has a standby time of 430 hours, idle time of 350 hours, talk time of 140 minutes, and TV phone time of 90 minutes. There are three colors available: orange, silver, and black. It comes with the new iAppli "Dragonquest" pre-installed.
